The Councillor for Culture and Celebrations of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, reported that on Saturday September 1 will be developed in the Garden of the wheel "I Competition Metal Lorca".
This is an event organized by the promoters of the "Metal Lorca" whose first prize is acting in concert that will take place on November 3 at the festival this year.
The mayor of Culture stressed that the organization's "I Competition Metal Lorca", is intended to achieve the twin objectives of promoting the dissemination of music as a form of cultural expression and, in particular, provide an opportunity for bands to promote themselves to thank the said event.
Sandra Martinez has indicated that in this "Battle of the Bands" will take part identifies groups whose sound with heavy metal and are of the Murcia region and adjacent provinces.
Each of the groups that have been selected through a pre-selection phase, perform live more than 45 minutes.
The Councillor for Culture, recalled that the third edition of Metal Lorca, will be next November 3 at the site of Santa Quiteria, an appointment for which from the organization are closing the recruitment of the participating groups.
