The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, reported that the Special Emergency device includes the installation of two field hospitals at the main entrance to the fairgrounds, in a plan that generally provides for the participation of 450 people, including municipal services of the City Council, Red Cross, and the Security Forces of the State, among others.
The mayor has stated that "following the experiences made in our town, have articulated five action groups, each with a coordinator-responsible, acting in greater or lesser degree depending on the severity of the emergency that may occur .
This has articulated an intervention group (consisting of Fire and Emergency Service personnel Municipal), other health (061 and Red Cross), Security (Local Police, National Security Companies), other logistics (which facilitate the transport people, quartermaster and other material and human resources), and a group of Social Action (social workers, psychologists, volunteers).
They will be marked meeting points in case of emergencies, which are held throughout the year since last Easter and that are located in the Alameda de la Constituci髇, Plaza Calderon, Ibanez Martin Institute, parking Lorca Health Center and Center Shopping Center San Diego.
The Special Emergency Plan Fair and Festival 2012 is a technical instrument consists of a set of criteria, standards and procedures that place the responses of the government against any of the emergency that is related to the event, subject exceptions to occur, if higher interest statement.
Through the Special Emergency Plan is intended to respond to emergencies that occur on the premises used in the festivities and their environments.
It also seeks to make coordinate and direct the services, facilities and resources involved, and optimize available resources, standardize procedures for prevention, protection, intervention and rehabilitation, and to establish appropriate linkages with planning procedures and higher level .
The Plan will be activated at 12:00 pm on Friday, September 21, being turned off at 05:00 am on Monday, October 1st, developing preventive mechanisms with additional means necessary.

During the Fair and Festivals 2012, there will be the following 25 marked parking areas with a total of 7,400 spaces for parking.
