The multicolored snake Lorca the Olympics started from the Plaza de Colon to reach the Swamp Bridge on a journey of 30 kms.
For the second consecutive year, the traditional cycle route to the districts of the Games Guadalentín traveled to what is one of their favorite destinations: the Swamp Bridge.
This tour offered during the Sunday morning group cycling opportunity for the districts Lorca and visit a place of great natural beauty as is the surrounding swamp.
At 10 am, 134 people gathered in the Plaza de Colón to pedal for 30 kms.
and enjoy a morning sports on the roads and highways of Lorca.
The multicolored snake departed on time to tour the Avenida Juan Carlos I, ascending the Town Bridge and take the first meters of the road from the parish to enter the riverbed.
Following this beautiful nature runner reached the ascent to the swamp.
There, in the natural setting of a pine forest, there was a stop along the way to take supplies and forces due to perform the traditional prize draw where a lucky few took home vouchers for sports equipment and dinners.
After the break, back to the bike, a small rise and cyclists were planted before the bed of the Swamp, recreating the look in contemplation of this engineering, last stop before returning to the road and back pedaling along the bed of river to La Merced, where the party was dissolved after completing the 30 kilometers of the race.
Once again, the cycle route to the Games got their purposes: Lorca to encourage best practice and sports fans discover new local cycling routes used throughout the year to enjoy physical activity in top condition .
And all with the good atmosphere that always characterizes these tests and make the Games a true celebration of sport.
But cycling events of the Games are not over yet, because in the morning of October 12 will be held the traditional cycle-ride for all, where children and adults pedalearán the streets of Lorca Lorca to dismiss the Olympics as they deserve.
