Councillor for Economy and Finance of the City of Lorca, Luis Amador, has reported that the city council put the collection from next Monday the different municipal registers relating to property tax (both urban and rustic as special arrangements) and the Business Tax, fords and space reservations and hunting.
Luis Amador explained that these revenues represent a whole the amount of € 20,905,293.19, of which a total of € 12,356,509.01 has been subsidized by the Government of Spain to the City, as it corresponds to buildings affected by earthquakes last year, assuming the amount of € 6,259,212.09.
Notably, 44,083 property owners are, therefore, exempt from property tax.
A measure that is left to Lorca over 12.3 million euros to contribute to the socio-economic recovery of the city after the earthquake last year, and in addition to the amount already provided in 2011, amounting to 24 million generally euros.
In this sense, the collection finally get a total of € 8,548,784.18, adding all the standards.
The repayment period begins on Monday October 1st and will remain open until November 30.
