The Governing Council has approved an investment of 1,357,997 euros from Murcia Health Service (SMS) to carry out the works to expand and reform the hospital Rafael Mendez de Lorca.

The project will take place between January and August of next year, according to forecasts from SMS.

Thus, the Ministry of Health and Social Policy continues the proceedings already initiated the drafting of the execution of the work and the safety and health study.

The objective of this action is to bring the pediatric area of ​​the hospital complex to the changing healthcare needs of the Health Area III.
