Employment Councilmember Hall, Eulalia Ibarra, has delivered this morning at 30 Lorca diplomas certifying their participation in training programs for the unemployed 'You and your neighborhood' and EmpleaT, the Urban Community Initiative Uptown Lorca, financed by the municipality and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Ibarra explained that participants in these programs have received over the past year a monthly salary of 561 € and improvements have been made in more than 40 streets and squares of the neighborhoods of San Juan, San Pedro, Santa Maria, Calvary, St. Kitts and San Lazaro and some municipal buildings.
The mayor has stated that for 40 hours per week the student-workers have received basic training and specialized in different areas such as painting, masonry, maintenance of urban spaces, ... and then make effective improvement work benches, litter bins, milestones, railings, lampposts , staircases, bars, walls, ...
With this work improvements have been made larger or smaller on the Streets of Santa Maria Maggiore Abellaneda, Almazan, Zamora, Montilla, Albaricos, Alonso Vargas, Velillas, hanging, Cruz de San Pedro, Shoe, Moriscos, Father Moroto, Empedrada, Soro, Father Carlon, Donis Ball, Altamira, Ródenas, Cañada de las Animas, Córdoba, Clock, Peter Montiel, Old San Pedro, Narciso Yepes, Cava, Albuquerque, Mercader, Olivares, Rio Júcar, Cruz de Sola, Soledad José María Zarauz, Holes, Event Obispo, San Roque and cruise, Cañada de Animas, among others.

All these initiatives are part of the one subject area Building social integration and equal opportunities in the section: Training actions by inserting custom itineraries.
Project co-financed by the City of Lorca, by 20% and 80% by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the framework of the Urban Initiative, under Axis 5 on sustainable development urban and regional operational program of the Region of Murcia 2007-2013.
Enrollment period open in a new edition of these programs
