The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, received this morning representatives of the Korean Women's International Network in Spain (SPAIN KOWIN) who have moved to our city for delivery to the mayor of collection of different activities undertaken by that body with the aim of contributing to the recovery of the city after the earthquake that destroyed much of the city in 2011.
In this ceremony solidarity aid, estimated at $ 1,000, were present the President of Kowin Spain, Seungmi Lee, together with the Secretary General of Spain Kowin, In Sook Oh, and President of the Association of Koreans in Spanish Levante, Bion Yun Su.
Lorca Mayor thanked on behalf of our city the interest shown by the Korean group in the recovery and reconstruction process that is unfolding after the earthquakes in the town, and recalled that since the Bureau for Development (entity you go funds delivered this morning) has so far helped more than 4,000 families affected by the earthquake Lorca, taking the opportunity to encourage all citizens to contribute to this task.
