The president of the Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, received today the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and the presidents of the fraternities of Easter Lorca.

At this meeting, the President congratulated the representatives of the guilds and the mayor by the success of last Easter, despite the difficulties that remain in the city as a result of the earthquakes occurred on May 11, 2011.

In this regard, the delegation thanked the Government lorquina regional media and the work done to promote religious event, so important to the city.

Also, the president of the Community they announced that, following his meeting on Tuesday with the Deputy Prime Minister, Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría, has agreed to sign an agreement between the three administrations (national, regional and local) to dissemination of the cultural heritage of Lorca and boosting tourism and cultural development of the municipality.
