These two new actions planned by the Department of Works and Municipal Services whose funding will be covered entirely by the financial resources that the City obtained from the European Solidarity Fund.
Both works will be executed by companies Lorca.
Councilman Works and Municipal Services City of Lorca, Angel Mecca, reported that the city council will invest an amount of 240,489.63 euros in the repair and improvement of road safety in the so-called High Bridge Trail and the improvement of several streets in the neighborhoods of Los Angeles and Apollonia.
Investment is financed entirely by the economic resources that the city got from the European Solidarity Fund.
Mecca has pointed out that we are talking about a road that was badly damaged by the earthquake of 2011 and we want to fix the Consistory for the benefit of all users in general and of the residents of the particular area.
Mecca Angel explained that the damage caused by the earthquakes in this road specially focus on the occurrence of subsidence and torches on the pavement which is strong, with the main objective of this action to ensure the traffic safety vehicles and pedestrians.
The works to be carried out include the repair of localized subsidence, surface rehabilitation remaining road sections by using the milling technique, the replacement of the current road surface throughout the trace, the Possible replacement services affected (particularly irrigation facilities) and replacement of signage.
Councilman Works has indicated that the path length is acting under a mile.
The High Bridge Road is located in the hamlet of Cazalla, and accessing it from Puente La Pia south, linking the said road with an intersection that connects Monjero rails and Paco Reverte and Chavo Bridge Road.
Total investment for the execution of these works is EUR 180,827.18.
