ADIF has awarded, in the amount of 1,180,236.1 euros (VAT included), the comprehensive rehabilitation station Sutullena Lorca (Murcia), damaged by the earthquake that devastated the city.
After this earthquake, ADIF necessary works executed in glazed pergola attached to the historic building to offer ticketing services and information.
The work awarded include treating the passenger building (351.9 m2), the terraces and outdoor spaces.
Also aim to ensure accessibility for people with disabilities.

The work will include:
1. - Building: The project will restore the central volume double-height and two lateral bodies of single height, respecting the design before the earthquake.
The central body shall have a double-height lobby with an area of ​​149.5 m2 built for passengers.
The lateral bodies consist of a single height of ADIF for offices and cafeteria.
Two. - Andenes and carport:
New flooring in the main platform (374 m2) with high slip resistance tiles and signal routing.
Placement of fixtures, furniture and signage.
The marquee will regain its previous design infill wood and covered with sheet steel on its outer layer.
The damaged items are restored to maintain its appearance.
New network of water drainage downspouts and drains.
