Lorca Young Socialists announce their full support to the educational strike May 9 and encourage the students and all acts which they support Lorca called to order the withdrawal of the Act Wert, to cuts in education and resignation of Minister
Lorca Socialist Youth (JSL) has announced that it will support the educational strike next May 9 to demand the government's withdrawal of Law Wert, to cuts in public education and for the immediate resignation of the Minister of Education, Culture and Sport, José Ignacio Wert.
For Jose Angel Ponce, Secretary General of JSL, "the May 9 school community will demonstrate the Government reforms are harmful and undermine the principles of public education from an early age to segregate with the revalidation, eliminate Citizenship Education , give greater weight to the subject of religion and allow segregation by sex in the classroom. "
Ponce said that "if approved Wert Law, a Law Undemocratic, we will face a bleak picture for students and teachers and that education will become an obstacle course in which only the great and the wealthy may be qualified."
JSL Secretary General also assured that "the main objective of the Government of Rajoy is to restrict access to college for students with fewer resources, breaking completely equal opportunities by segregating early cuts in scholarships and tasazo university ".
"Reasons for entirely the student mobilization and that all students should know," he argues Ponce to indicate that during these days are turning to the various schools in Lorca in order to announce to the students what would this LOMCE and remind the need to be mobilized for the sake of education in Spain.
