Schools San José, José Robles and San Fernando have a new room in which construction is investing the amount of 212,000 euros.
In the grounds of this joint investment centers totaled 2.3 million euros.
Councillor of Education of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, and the Director General of the CARM Educational Infrastructures, José María Ramírez Burgos, this morning visited the construction site of the new cafeteria that will serve educational communities 3 schools of our city, such as San Jose center, Jose Robles and San Fernando.
This is an ambitious project with a total investment of 212,912.34 financed entirely by the Ministry of Education and consisting CARM.
Basically, enabling a large cafeteria which is located on the lower level of the Malls sports hall, which also serves students and teachers in this large room in which it is framed.
The new dining room has space for kitchen, disabled toilets, pantry room, locker facilities and area for cooks, plus a spacious dining area dimensions, which will replace the existing school José Robles.
In overall terms we are talking about a construction performed on a total area of ​​612 square meters, of which 523 will be helpful.
This new facility will benefit all users of the service, and come to meet a project through dialogue between the school community and government.
Recall that the investment that has been run on this campus in less than 24 months, which includes the three aforementioned schools, amounting to 2.3 million euros.
In fact the school to reopen San Fernando after the earthquake the Ministry of Education allocated 990,000 euros, while the arrangement of Jose Robles required the investment of 500,000 euros and repairs in the San José 600,000 euros.
These data confirms that the recovery of the schools was a priority.
We emphasize that in just 80 days is comprehensively managed six schools that were seriously affected by the earthquakes, works that have made a success in the actions of the Ministry of Education.
In total term has been allocated 13.5 million euros from the day of the earthquake to date.
All schools and facilities related to education (universities, libraries ...) are working properly.
Earthquakes forced to partially demolish two institutes: the Francisco Giner and Ramon Ros Arcas.
The works of Ros Giner (3 million euros) have already begun, while the Arcas Mecca are tendered.
By the City Council has invested another 2.1 million in this regard.
From the CARM has been allocated so far 13 million euros, bringing the expected total to 21.7 million.
