Development Councilwoman City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, visited this morning the actions taken in the industrial Saprelorca thanks to funding provided by the Government of Spain through the Plan called Reindus 2012.
Navarro Martínez explained that it is a Central government's commitment to contribute to the development of industrial activity in our municipality, which has been articulated both Reindus approved for the year 2012, as, again, has been awarded for this year.
We are talking about a combined amount of 23 million euros.
Note that the call to the concurrence of projects that can benefit from aid for 2013 remains open, so Lorca encourage companies to become informed about them and request them.
The City Council is fully aware of the effort that is being carried by the term industrial merchant based in our city to cope with the difficult economic situation we are experiencing, and, in the case of Lorca, has been intensified by because of the natural disasters that have plagued us in recent times, such as the earthquakes in 2011 and flooding last September.

Development The mayor explained that the actions taken so far in the polygon based Saprelorca helps Reindus 2012 consisted of a project to improve aesthetics, resurfacing and improvement of road safety as well as to improve performance sustainability of the parks and gardens of their environment.
In detail the first of these projects indicates that given the high number of daily visits generated in this ppolígono, not only by the large number of workers, but also by the views of customers, suppliers and other users of the Transport Centre Lorca, it is necessary to carry out the work of street resurfacing and repainting.
The improved avenues belong to the first sector to be urbanized in the Industrial Saprelorca and, therefore, are those that have the highest occupancy and receiving visits.
It is, in particular, avenues José Montoya Garcia, Francisco Jimeno Sola and Rio Segura.
Resurfacing work consisted of a layer of pavement extending irrigation compound layer adhesion and hot asphalt porphyry D-12, with a thickness of 4 cm.
The road marking has been done on the paved avenues and has consisted of reflective road markings, parking and cebreados lines and symbols.
In that sense it has invested the amount of € 91,014.
As for improving the sustainability of the parks and gardens of the estate, it should be noted that his goal was to solve the problem of lack of water for irrigation of gardens, which involves the transfer of the deposit to be used the City of Lorca, adapting existing a dam on a farm owned by Saprelorca, acquired at the time for future expansion of the Polygon.
The estate with the reservoir is located on the southern border of the polygon, has a total area of ​​127 hectares and its ownership corresponds to Saprelorca.
The work in this regard have included the repair and cleaning of existing marsh and in channeling irrigation water to the Industrial Saprelorca.
The reservoir capacity is 5,000 m3 and dimensions 52 meters long, 32 meters wide and 5 meters deep.
The budget for the project amounts to the sum of € 31,365.
