The Minister of Universities, Business and Research, José Ballesta, today introduced the members of the Regional Confederation of Organizations of Lorca (Ceclor) specific call Reindustrialisation Aids to Lorca and the region for 2013, aimed at revival of the industry in the area and that for the second consecutive year, launches the Central Government.
The new call for funding with an investment of 10.6 million euros.

According Ballesta, "today we wanted to be accountable to the public and to employers of Lorca, represented in the Confederation of Employers and Chamber of Commerce, of the results obtained in the previous round of research and re-industrialization".
Thus, the Minister expressed his appreciation to the business of Lorca for "being an example of leadership during the previous call," as presented 164 industrial initiatives, of which 32 were selected on a competitive, which involved an investment of 13.6 million euros, of which 9.6 were subsidized.
Therefore, Lorca entrepreneurs put in front "to push through his city, creating jobs and economic growth."
"Now we have a new call, with 10.6 million euros to be made available to employers," said Jose Ballesta.
The Minister also stressed that in the previous edition, business projects were framed in very different productive sectors, "which is very interesting, because it shows the vitality and industrial and economic dynamism of the region".
In this regard, he added that "were agrifood initiatives, tanning industry, closely linked to the town of Lorca, and other sectors, such as plastics."
Development of new business projects
This line of incentives is aimed at the recovery of industrial infrastructure affected by the earthquakes, and the development of new business ventures.
The loans are repayable in 10 years with a grace period for beneficiaries are not required to pay anything for three years and an execution period of 18 months from authorizing the projects.
Projects are evaluated according to criteria such as location, overall capabilities of the organization, job creation, quality and technical feasibility and economic viability and financial performance.
José Ballesta said the aim of this meeting is now held with Ceclor is "to inform entrepreneurs to detail is not lost or no longer do a single industrial or infrastructure initiative in the municipality."
