The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, inaugurated this morning the "First Meeting Sociosanitario" entitled "Improving Care for People with Severe Mental Illness", organized by the Health Area III.
The event has been attended by the Director General of Planning, Health and Pharmaceutical and Research of the Ministry of Health and Social Policy of the CARM, José Antonio García Córdoba, and Aldermen of Health and Social Services of the City of Lorca, Antonia Lopez and Maria del Carmen Ruiz.
The mayor has said that "this initiative is a very beneficial tool for all professionals who dedicate their careers to the treatment of people suffering from such a disorder."
This is an event that counts among its organizing committee assistants, doctors and experts.
The Mayor has indicated that Lorca welcomes the holding of a meeting of such importance geriatric.
