The Health Area III-Lorca First Meeting held today Sociosanitario to try 'The Improving Care for People with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) and / or Chemical Dependency', based on the coordination of all resources and services.
The meeting, which was attended by over 150 professionals from Health and Social Sector and Third Sector, has been inaugurated by the Director General of Planning, Health and Pharmaceutical and Research, José Antonio García Córdoba and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar.
Cordoba Garcia explained "the importance of betting on coordinated actions to have integrated features that enable maximum efficiency and ensure continuity of care based on a user-centric procedures."
In the Regional Working Group on Socio Coordination TMG and / or drug dependency are, among others, professionals Planning Directorate, Health and Pharmaceutical and Research Health Care of Murcia Health Service and the Instituto Murciano Social Action.
The CEO stated that "it is a meeting to enhance and exchange views, so that is defined with a continuity and therefore over the coming months we will take you to the eight remaining health areas that integrate the Map Regional Health ".
The main theme has been the understanding and analysis of the current situation of people suffering TMG, professionals, services and resources from different sectors providers.

In the first working performances have been addressed, procedures and resources to treat people with SMI or Drug Dependence Health Area III-Lorca, analyzing their strengths and weaknesses and undertaking suggestions for improvement or reinforcement.
In the second part, there have been three workshops organized by geographical belonging in the context of the Health Area III-Lorca in which deepened on issues related to intersectoral coordination.
This day ended with the presentation of conclusions and proposals drawn those in each of the workshops.
