Councillor of Education of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, reported that "the Director General of Department of the Ministry of Education of the Autonomous Community, Jose Maria Ramirez, has already confirmed definitively that the Regional Government will invest over 900,000 euros in development and implementation of the proposed new kindergarten building in the hamlet of Campillo ".
Montiel said "in fact, from the regional administration has already begun the process to begin early works of the new building to be built on land that the Consistory Lorca recently expropriated by the Primary School".
The mayor explained that "the new building will replace the one has been used, built in 1962, which is in poor condition, which has been an historical vindication of the educational community backed by Francisco Jodar from the start. The current building has 7 classrooms and two additional on 2 floors, in which students receive 147 class 3-5 years. "
