The European Handball Federation (EHF) organization has confirmed that the Youth European Championship 2014 Beach Handball has been granted to the Royal Spanish Handball Federation.
The venue chosen to host this was European Lorca, Murcia town, third in importance behind the capital and Cartagena, which a little over two years (11/May/2011) was shaken by an earthquake that left nine dead and three hundred wounded.
This Youth European Championship Handball 2014 will be held on 11, 12 and July 13.
In this year's edition, to be held from 5 to 8 July in the Danish town of Randers, European pre Absolute, Spain to participate in male and female categories.
In the women's tournament, will face Spain in a single group, with Denmark, Hungary, Norway, Russia, Switzerland and Turkey, while in the male, the Spanish team has been placed in Group A along with Russia, Switzerland and Norway.
Turkey, Serbia, Hungary and Denmark make up Group B.
