Education is developing seven other rehabilitation centers that were affected by earthquakes
The Education, Training and Employment has awarded the contract to rebuild the IES Ramón Arcas and CEIP San Jose del landscape of Directors in Lorca, an investment of over 2.7 million euros.
Specifically, the Department has awarded the reconstruction of Lorca Instituto Ramón Arcas of the company Dragados, which will begin in the coming days the new center, with an investment of 2,451,258 euros.
This project, whose execution time is twelve months, will involve the construction of a new building connected to the main by two bridges.
It is 3,000 square meters of land that have been released after the demolition of the damaged center.
That's where the new building will be located, you will have more and better spaces for the entire educational community Ramón Arcas.
He has also been awarded the reconstruction of CEIP San Jose's place in the company's Chief Works and Services Musan, with a budget of 268,620 euros and a lead time of six months.
These works are in addition to all those who have been or are being implemented by the Community with the aim of recovering the educational heritage of Lorca after the earthquakes, a goal that eventually spend more than 20 million euros.
The rehabilitation or reconstruction works that are running at the moment are the Ros Giner IES, IES works of St. John Bosco, IES Sierra Almenara (Puri), IES hamlets High (La Paca) and CEIP José Robles.
Also being carried out repair works on the Integrated Training Center, and the Secondary School Prince of Asturias.
