The plot offered in the neighborhood of craftsman is not accessible and more expensive the project

Yesterday July 19 there was a meeting convened by the Chief Judge of Lorca with the participation of all legal operators of Lorca, Judges, Clerks, Prosecutors, Officers, Lawyers, Attorneys and representatives of the City Council and representatives of the various political parties , and socialist group Eagles Hall in relation to the possible demise of the Courts of Lorca and his move to Murcia, and the location of the promised and built "City of Justice" of Lorca, by the Ministry .

The meeting ended after presenting their views attendees, who mostly agreed on the urgent need for the construction of the City of Lorca Justice and the City Council to the Ministry bid another lot more accessible.

CCOO stated that for over twenty years, the Ministry has been putting off building the city of Lorca Justice due to the problems with the location of the lots offered by the City.

These lots are in an inaccessible area which presents many problems, and greatly expensive construction and this has given the delay with respect to other judicial districts with smaller populations: Totana, Jumilla, Cieza, San Javier Mula or have new buildings more recent construction.

CCOO considers it unacceptable that after more than twenty years waiting, still continue to propose the old town of Lorca as the place for the Judicial Building.

The revitalization of the area believe it should be accompanied by measures to cultural or commercial, given the particular artistic and architectural significance of the whole, as the implementation of "gourmet market" recently announced.

CCOO considered by the City of Lorca should be offered to the Ministry of Justice urgently another lot in an area accessible to both the public and for workers who meet the planning conditions suitable for immediate construction of the City of Justice of Lorca, thus giving it a modern infrastructure, and consistent with this city, the third largest in the Region of Murcia, hit by the earthquake of 2011 and floods in 2012.
