A new route will families visiting day at Castle find "Jewish Treasure".

The Councillor for Tourism of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, reported that due to the summer and increase "family holidays" to the castle during the school holidays, Lorca Workshop of Time launches a new visit whose main public families with children who want to know the history in a fun and entertaining, especially close to the city's Jewish heritage.
The tour will take visitors to learn about Jewish culture of the castle through different tests from a mysterious map found in the fortress.
The mayor of Tourism explained that this new activity to be held every day during the months of July and August has been released this week (specifically on Monday) with the students of the Summer School of Physical Activity and Leisure ( EVAF), this morning visited the premises of the Castle.
The more than 140 students in summer school have enjoyed a long day accompanied by their monitors in addition to knowing the medieval history of Lorca, participated in various tests and workshops about Jewish culture that inhabited the fortress to the decree of expulsion by the Catholic Monarchs in the fifteenth century.
