The Ministry of Public Works and Planning continues the contract award procedure urban regeneration neighborhood of La Viña

The Ministry of Public Works and Planning advances in advising residents of the town of Lorca who will reconstruct the buildings affected by the earthquake of 2011, and has already served more than 40 communities of owners, representing about 700 homes.

This was stated today the Director General of Planning and Housing, Yolanda Muñoz, after a meeting this week with the owners of the building community Domus Aurea is located in the neighborhood of La Viña.

Yolanda Muñoz explained that during the meeting, "advise the representatives of that community about the special plan of your building and we resolved the issues we raised on the common space have been proposed."

The director said that the work of information that is carried out with the communities of owners of buildings that are to be reconstructed is an ongoing activity of the department.

Munoz recalled that the reconstruction of the building Domus Aurea, along with the New Vineyard, began last June.

Both buildings totaling 116 apartments and 142 garages and redevelopment projects have been handled by two separate special internal reform plans (PERI).

About the urban regeneration project in the neighborhood of La Viña in which works the Ministry, the director stated that "the draft award goes at a good pace and we believe that will be a catalyst for the development from the point of view, trade and mobility of the municipality ".
