The Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla, participated in this week's meeting of the Board of the Regional Confederation of Organizations of Lorca (Ceclor) where he had the opportunity to explain his department projects to revitalize its economy in the coming years.
Antonio Sevilla said that "the works being undertaken by the Ministry and those to be developed in the coming months in the region of Lorca will mean a boost not only to the local economy, but also for the region."
Antonio Sevilla explained to employers urban regeneration projects of the most important city and with an investment of over 53 million euros.
"We are currently finalizing the processing of the contract in the neighborhood of La Viña and advancing the project Alfonso X Barrios and San Jose, where we have received 22 offers in both cases," the head of Public Works.
Repair over 138 kilometers of roads
In addition, during the meeting held at the headquarters of the plan was discussed Ceclor road repair, encompassing a total of 20 performances, at 138 kilometers, amounting to 47.5 million euros.
From the set of actions set, Sevilla said the latest work authorized was the C-9 (Lorca-Totana Zarzadilla).
From the works defined in the scheme, the Department has now completed the repair of the roads RM D-7 (Lorca-The Alporchones), RM D-9 (Campico Lopez-RM 332) RM D-10 (Lorca-The Almenara) and RM 701 (Lorca-The Parish).
Currently under implementation are the works of regional roads RM C-22 (Baths of Fuensanta-Los Velez), and the RM D-12 (Lorca-Alcanara).
They are already awarded the MRI C-14 (RM 711 - Zarcilla), the D-11 (Camino Viejo del Puerto) and RM 621 (Lorca-Puri).
The Highways Agency is also working on the bidding for the D-16 (Puerto Lumbreras-Station), D-26 (Station-RM 620) and RM 11 (Lorca-Eagles).
In addition to the reconstruction of pavements, in some cases the actions include the construction of new roads, bridges, squares and sidewalks, and drainage works factory.
