Employment Councilwoman City of Lorca, Eulalia Ibarra, expressed his satisfaction with the decline in unemployment in Lorca in 199 people during the month of July, which is a decrease of 2.49% over the number of unemployed in the previous month .
The mayor explained that "unemployment has dropped in Lorca in all sectors, especially in services, construction and agriculture; displaying a decline in both men and women and in all age sectors".
Ibarra said "the number of unemployed Lorca has dropped 1.12 points higher than in the rest of the country and 0.98 more than the rest of the region, even though our town is not a town with great activity in summer ".
"These data further confirm that although we have to keep working while a single strike Lorca in Lorca is still one of the municipalities in the region with the lowest unemployment in proportion to its population," the mayor stressed.
The councilman added the importance of the effort made by the three governments to create a good climate for promoting employment and self employment.
