The owners, developers and technicians, who so request, may require monitoring works projects free of charge
The Autonomous Community will perform the monitoring of compliance with seismic regulations for new construction projects and rehabilitation and issue a certificate of appropriateness thereof.
This was announced by the Director General of Planning and Housing, Yolanda Muñoz, whose department hired late last month about technical work aimed at alleviating the effects of earthquake and flood Lorca Puerto Lumbreras.
Furthermore, Yolanda Muñoz said all owners, promoters and technicians who so request, may request supervision works projects free of charge.
"As for the town of Puerto Lumbreras, also offer supervision of public works structures and deemed appropriate civil and issue the report of their situation."
The issuance of such certificates of suitability is part of the strategy earthquake that initiated the Department of Public Works and Planning after past earthquakes of May 2011.
