Emergency Councillor of the City of Lorca, Eduardo Sanchez, reported that during the months of July and August the Municipal Emergency Services Hon.
Lorca, is participating in the Regional Plan Monitoring and rescue beaches and rescue at sea (Couplet Plan) in coordination with the Department of Public Safety and Emergency Department of the Presidency of the Regional Government, by establishing a device comprehensive emergency care to offer a prompt, effective and coordinated response to any emergency in the coastal strip running from Parazuelos Beach in Mazarrón limit, to Galera beach with the town of Aguilas.

Sanchez Abad noted that the Municipal Emergency Services has served a total of 75 incidents on beaches in our town during the month of August, these being within normal parameters, taking into account the large number of bathers on the beaches of Tips Calnegre this month.
These interventions have been motivated by:
Marine animal bites a total of 38, of which 16 have been by jellyfish by weeverfish urchins 7 and 15

Assists for treatment of minor injuries: 15
Rescue boat: 1 which was moored and overturned by a wave.

On the other hand the Municipal Emergency Services has requested six transfers by ambulance to Health Center Ramonete motivated by: 1 people per heat stroke, one illness, 2 children and 1 man spider bite and one fish lady with alcohol poisoning.
Emergency Councilman reported also that in terms of search and rescue of people during the month of August were a total of 15, occurred in the following days, most of them with caution, being addressed immediately avoiding greater evils:

8/14/2013 day, this is a 12 years Calnegre tips.
18/08/2013 day are performed three rescues in Punta Calnegre.
This is a lady of 60 years and two children aged 6 and 5.
