Cazalla Intercultural Association and the Youth Council of the City of Lorca promote this initiative held in the Cultural Fund Espín open in the morning and afternoon.

"In the afternoon, the day was open to all young people who wish to attend, offering between 17:00 and 20:00 hours about the European Voluntary Service, a panel of European experiences of former volunteers and development opportunities and professional staff that is achieved through mobility programs, "stated Augustine calls.

The mayor said that "the objective of this activity, which is done in collaboration with Obra Social Caja Mediterráneo is to promote active participation and provide information to young people about volunteering opportunities locally and internationally through Youth in Action of the European Union ".

"The event will also provide a space for former volunteers to share their ideas on the concept of participation and the creation of a local youth group strongly motivated to develop or support volunteer projects at local and regional level," stressed Councilman Youth who recalled that "the participation of young people in this program are allowed to know other cultures, other languages ​​and demonstrate the involvement of youth in the betterment of society from a constructive spirit."

60 young Lorca sent 25 countries

Finally, the council recalled that 60 Lorca have gone with the European Voluntary Service offered by the Youth Council to 25 countries in Europe, Asia and America.
