The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, since today the foundation stone for the reconstruction of the building of 12 houses in the Estate of health in which the supermarket was 'Star', located at number 2 Tanners Street neighborhood La Viña.
Jodar has participated in this event with the owners of this new building, which is raising the company Lorca CIDEMIR, and will replace the 1973 building that was damaged by the earthquake of 2011.
In addition to a shop of over 200m2 and 1231.57 m2 of housing, with an operating budget of more than 770 600 material euros, the building includes improvements such as a geotechnical study of the site, improving energy efficiency through solar panels, air conditioning, thermal and acoustic insulation, removal of architectural barriers, along with the logic adaptation to the new seismic regulations, control of materials and structure, as well as a revised draft for technical inspection body and decennial insurance.

The reconstruction of these houses is being made possible thanks to support paid by 50% by the Regional Government and 50% Government of Spain, as well as the compensation of the Insurance Compensation Consortium neighbors.
