The Councillor for Employment, Lali Ibarra thanked this entity to give an opportunity to these young people, ensuring continuity with a new generation of this tradition, which is to declare Intangible Heritage of Humanity and is a fundamental element our Easter and our tourist attractions.
Employment Councilwoman City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, President of the Foundation Santo Domingo, Ramon Mateo, and the president of White Pass, Juan Andrés Ibáñez, have reported that the aforementioned foundation has hired three young unemployed Lorca to develop stitchers apprentice positions, following his participation in Embroidery Workshop School that promoted the Department of Employment of the Consistory.
Ibarra thanked this entity to give him a job opportunity in the Embroidery Workshop White Pass to these young people, who have proved their mettle, which will ensure the continuity of this tradition is to declare Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO and is a fundamental element of our Easter and our tourist attractions.
Specifically, in compliance with the objective of preserving and enhancing the embroidery, as they send their statutes, the Foundation has entered Santo Domingo Elena Romera Juana Hernandez, Ana Ros Rodriguez and Antonia Ruiz Najera a one-year, renewable two more for training and learning, in order to give free training linked to job, useful for obtaining their Professional Certificates.
The objective of this contract is to deepen the professional qualifications alternating with workers paying job, the first year 25% of the theoretical working hours (ie, two hours a day to training six to effective work ) and two years of 15% of theoretical.
Remember that the Department of Employment launched in collaboration with the Regional Employment and Training program to train embroidery in order to provide the next generation, as teachers being professional embroiderers steps White and Blue.
