67 archers participating in the VI Archery Trophy which won the regional record in Arco Standard (13/10/2013)

A few years ago the Archery was a sport that passed by Lorca.

Today the Sun City is a leader in this sport at supra.

And all thanks to good work by the Archery Club Arcolorca.

The importance attached to this form could be seen to perfection during Sunday morning with the VI Trophy Archery Outdoor, held on the lawn of the '82 World.

Proof Guadalentin Sports Games brought together 67 archers from 7 to 70 years of all clubs in the Region of Murcia, and archers from Valencia.

This trophy was part of the Regional League Archery Outdoor and matched the Territorial Championship Murcia.

From 9 to 14:30 am, the archers participants showed their class when tightening the rope and try to target.

The divisions or types of bows were used or Olympic recurve, compound or pulleys, RFTA or Spanish standard, bare bow, traditional, traditional recurve long bow.

All tests were conducted, as federal law marks in two sets of 36 arrows each at the corresponding distances from 12 to 70 meters, later qualifying celebrate the best of 5 sets.

We must emphasize the role of Lorca archers since Arcolorca Club members excel in every competition in which they are involved.

In fact has in its ranks a regional champion bare room arched a regional league champion outdoors too arched naked mode you also have a 14-year regional champion a regional champion arched room standard fourth place in the Championship of Spain of standard arc and a third place in the Championship of Spain bare arc held this year in Pontevedra.

It was, in short, a great show for the dozens of attendees who praised the accuracy of the archers and good pulse on every pitch that moreover the regional record in Standard Spanish Arch that put the finishing touch to a great day.
