National Police agents have arrested an Ecuadorian citizen 43 years of age as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health after intervenirse in unauthorized drugs to put on sale in establishing rummage sale that ran .
The arrest took place on November 5, during an inspection of which are usually done in this type of establishment to control the possible sale of stolen items.
In one of these stores in the city of Lorca, officials detected several cases of drug exposed on a retail counter.
Once inspected, it was found that these drugs came mostly from South America and considering its characteristics, can only be dispensed in Spain through pharmacy stores upon presentation of prescription, as some of them can cause damage serious health hazards if not managed in the right way.
It involved several pill boxes of varying composition, some of them expired and that at no time had been under the control of the Spanish health authorities or the European Union.
For all the above we proceeded to the arrest of the head of that establishment for the commission of an alleged crime against public health.
The detainee has already been made available to the judicial authority.
