From the union SIDI we denounce the dismantling and deterioration of public education in the city of Lorca, due to the clear support that the Ministry of Education provides private education.

This union has been told that this city is going to proceed to the next school year 14/15 to the opening of a new private school for two lines, as has been disseminated through various means, whereas across public schools are in a growing precariousness:

Most public schools are overcrowded (especially the three neighborhood centers, CEIP San Cristobal, Sacred Heart and CEIP CEIP Juan Gonzalez) due to suppression of classrooms, classrooms that exist and that are empty.

We proceeded to reducing templates teachers in all centers.

All these aspects affect a decline in the quality of education so that the SIDI urges the Ministry of Education, Universities and Employment to make its position clear support (or not) to public education and address the problems mentioned above to we can all work with the same conditions and establish media and education for the rich and another for the poor.

The SIDI not believe in segregation by social class, but a quality education, public and free for all as it has been done for decades, always respecting the freedom of parents in school choice for their children .

But if we let a guy wither education is clear what the choice of families, yes, only for those who can afford it.
