Researchers have relied on the cooperation of citizens
The Civil Guard of Murcia and Lorca Local Police, under the 'Plan against theft on farms and livestock', have jointly developed an investigation into the theft of a large number of lambs on a farm lorquina Ramonete hamlet, which has led to the arrest of the alleged perpetrator of the theft and recovery, another farm in Puerto Lumbreras, 25 lambs stolen.
The investigation was initiated to detect the commission of a robbery at a holding ganadea Ramonete where, using force to access it, thirty lambs was subtracted.
Thanks to the cooperation of citizens, preliminary investigations directed the agents to a farm in Puerto Lumbreras, which had been distributed illegally stolen lambs for fattening and subsequent commercialization.
Also a neighbor of Lorca that allegedly was behind the commission of the robbery was identified.
Once obtained necessary evidence proceeded to the location and arrest of an individual suspected of the crime of burglary as well as the recovery of stolen cattle and return to the owner.
Effects recovered
Officers have recovered 25 of the 30 lambs stolen in farm Ramonete who, after being brought to justice, have been returned to its rightful owner.
The arrested, recovered lambs and the proceedings have been brought before the Court of Instruction No. 6 Lorca (Murcia).
Agents preventing public safety, the ROCK team and Prevention Unit and Local Operational Response (UPROL) Local Police Lorca, who have developed research together, have managed to paralyze the impending illegal distribution of stolen cattle thereby preventing the proliferation of thefts arrested by now.
