The Cabinet has approved a grant of 43,091 euros to the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena for the restoration of the cemetery church of San Clemente in Lorca.
The works included in the Master Plan for Recovery of Cultural Heritage Lorca, be the repair of one of the cattails on the main facade and interior walls.
The church of San Clemente Cemetery is one nave, with two belfries on both sides of the access.
It has a masonry plinth on which the windows are raised and their frames stand on the brick veneer wall plaster on white.
The frames, capped targeted profiles fit the eclectic style of Justo Millán, also called 'spiky style'.
The lintels of the doors and the central cemetery side cover are made of masonry.
The entrance, with a simple and sober arch with keywords highlighted, is framed by pilasters.
You create a profile and highlighted by numerous broken moldings that give the whole monumentality.
The Master Plan for the recovery of cultural heritage of Lorca, the result of coordination between state, regional and local administrations, has committed more than 90 percent of the investment required for the completion of works, amounting to some 58 million euros.
