Sports Councilman Agustin Llamas, reported that the council has invested € 24,000 in municipal track located near the school, while the Councillor for Education stressed that in the other three tracks will be an investment of 79,000 euros.
Councillors Sports and Education Council of Lorca, Augustine Llamas and Francisco Montiel, have reported an investment valued at 103,000 euros that the council has to improve four lanes of the city damaged by earthquakes in 2011 that are used by students schools.
Llamas explained that, specifically, the council has already executed an investment worth € 24,000 in municipal track located near the school Ramón Arcas, which is used both by the students of this school as the locals.
The improvement consisted in the remodeling of the facility, with the resurfacing, widening the sports arena, replacing the fencing and improving the baskets, and goals.
"With this work we respond to a neighborhood and school community demand, making available all Lorca a central sports ground in perfect condition," said the mayor.
For his part, Councillor of Education has reported that the city also plans to act on repairing the school track Andrés García Soler, who suffered pavement cracks and deformations that were unsuitable for the sport from earthquakes.
In this case, it will sting, withdraw and replace the concrete slab with a new red in coloration and markings of the drawings of the sports, as well as repairing the fence.

The works of these three schools, which are valued at about 79,000 euros, will be made by the agreement reached with the Spanish Confederation of Savings Banks (CECA).
Augustine and Francisco Montiel Llamas have stressed that "as usual on the investments made by the City, these works are carried out by companies in the municipality."
Both councilors stated that "these four actions are another example of the continuous improvements being made both in sports and educational facilities of the municipality, which are in constant transformation."
