The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, accompanied by a representation of the village headman of our municipality, has delivered to the Director of Caritas Lorca, Lazaro Caballero, a large donation to this NGO.
This is the result of the gala organized by the village headman on Saturday December 7.
It was the third edition of this charity event through which Lorca solidarity of the entire municipality is collected to help the needy.
At the gala acted selflessly 10 artists, as was the case of Marisol Segura, Ricky Andaluz Chico, Fran Cano, Cardoso I, II Cardoso, Antonio Andaluz, Peter Lucas, Rosa María Luján, Mercedes Luján, Luis Carlos Vargas and Terry .
This charity event was a huge success, in fact the Teatro Guerra recorded a full house and the 550 attendees had a great time with a festival that did not miss anything.
The Mayor stressed that thanks to the recovery has been achieved this donation to Caritas deliver today and that will be very important to help families who are faring worse and especially the little ones.
Specifically wipes 240 packages, 180 packages of baby food, baby food 240, 50 packs and 70 packs of diapers shampoo and cologne delivered.
This is a significant donation and representing the finishing touch to this great Gala.
Francisco Jodar has conveyed his congratulations to the event sponsors; Travel Eliotours, Parador de Lorca and San Francisco Florist, who worked selflessly in this evening, as well as the mayors of neighborhoods and districts as promoters of Gala.
In this regard, the mayor said that often the work performed by the shadow makes pedáneos not justly highlight the immense work being done.
The headman are 24 hours a day available to its neighbors, collect suggestions and requests, coordinate activities and establish an ongoing dialogue with the council and myself.
This is an absolutely selfless work done for one simple reason: because they are committed to their land.
