The Director of Roads, José Guijarro, today announced that his department has already awarded the contract for the repair and improvement of regional road RM-C9, linking the town of Lorca in deputation Zarzadilla Totana, which works will begin next January.
According to José Guijarro, this contract will begin work early in the year, with a deadline of four months.
The road has a length of eight kilometers and its budget amounts to 750,000 euros.
In particular, the works consist of the sanitizing of torches, the regularization of the firm, the renewal of the surface layer and the lining of ditches, explained the director.
This project, which is part of the program of the Ministry of Public Works and Planning for repairing roads Lorca environment affected by earthquakes in 2011, with an investment of more than 47.5 million euros in the next four years.
The recovery of the connections, which began last year and completed in 2016, includes performances in a total of 156 kilometers.
