The Ministry of Public Works and Planning has completed work on the autonomic pathways RM D-11 (known as Old Port Road) and D RM-12 (road Alcanara), both in the town of Lorca.
This was announced today by the Minister Antonio Sevilla, who explained that with these actions was returned "the operation and safety of two roads south of Lorca, through repair torches, regularization of the firm, the renewal of the wearing course and signaling, as well as the lining of ditches. "
"In the aforementioned works, the Community has invested more than a million euros in the 20 miles that encompass both roads," said the director.
Antonio Sevilla recalled that actions are part of the program of the Highways Agency which aims to restore the roads affected by the earthquakes that occurred in the City of the Sun on May 11, 2011.
The recovery of the connections, which began last year and completed in 2016, includes performances in a total of 156 kilometers and, overall, is a regional investment of 47.5 million euros.
