Lorca's Popular Party held on the morning of Saturday, December 28th his first Solidario Paddle Tournament.
The competition was held from 9 am to 14.30 pm.
A total of 21 couples took part in the event which ran through September 1st knockout of both male and female categories, also taking place consolation competition in the men.
Each participating couples delivered as nonperishable food registration.
Over 250 kg.
were collected thanks to the solidarity of all the contestants couples.
These foods were delivered during the course of the day by the President of the PP of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, the Director of Caritas Lorca, Lazaro Caballero.
Among the participants were known to the local and regional politics as councilors Team Municipal Government, the regional deputy Fernando López Miras or the President of New Generations of the Region of Murcia, Luis Fernando Ruiz faces.
All players enjoyed a typical breakfast of chocolate Christmas and Easter cakes but mostly had the opportunity to deliver their solidarity to help the needy.
