The president of the Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, received today at the Palacio de San Esteban the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, to address issues related to the construction of ring roads future city projects and urban regeneration neighborhoods of the town after the earthquake of 2011.

The construction of the South-Central rounds of ring around the town of Lorca is included in the draft Plan Lorca + will require greater public investment and will be implemented in four tranches until 2020.

This year, the Community Regeneration start work in the neighborhoods of Alfonso X, San Jose, San Diego and Uptown, with investment from the loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the recovery of the municipality.
