The AMPA IES "Ros Giner" and students have decided to delay the same one week joining classrooms to spend the first few days of January to protest demonstrations by the unjustifiable delay in the reconstruction of the Institute.
After thirty-two months of the earthquake on May 11, 2013 the IES "Ros Giner" Lorca still not rebuilt and its students moved it.
The AMPA Institute considers the situation unbearable suffering their children and claims that are the subject of a discriminatory practice, unequal treatment with other survivors and affected and feel abandoned by the Department and City Hall.
The patience of the educational community, which has been demonstrated many times in the almost three years, has exhausted the termination of the contract known to the concessionaire of the works.
This termination occurs after repeated delays in the commencement of work and after many excuses and promises of government that have been proven false.
Back to tender and awarding the work opens a new and lengthy waiting period ensures that next year may not be available the new institute.
CCOO expressed support for the educational community of IES "Ros Giner" and understands and shares your indignation and hartazón to the succession of broken promises.
CCOO regional government's reaction to the disaster caused by the earthquake in Lorca describes perfectly well what government priorities are all churches and church facilities affected by the earthquake have already been rebuilt or repaired, while the most severely affected Institutes "Ramón Arcas" and "Ros Giner" or are still under construction, the first case, or they have not yet begun, the second case.
The Ampa the "Ros Giner" has convened various concentrations in the Plaza of Spain on 7, 8, 10 and 11 (12 to 13 hours) to which to attend and CCOO called them mass, and concentration at the Ministry of Education on Thursday, 9 which CCOO union delegates will join.
