Young users catering Spanish Network of Youth Hostels can discover the richness and importance of the cultural, historical and natural heritage of Lorca by accessing numerous discounts, and special offers economic advantages to the main monuments and museums.
This is stipulated in the agreement signed today in Lorca Director General of Prevention of Domestic Violence, Youth, Legal Protection and Juvenile Court, Veronica Lopez, acting president of the Spanish Network of Youth Hostels (RESET), and President the Board of Directors of the corporation Lorca Taller del Tiempo (Lorcatur), Francisco Jodar.
This agreement, with a term of one year, "contributes to the active promotion of tourism in all its varieties, providing access to accommodation and cultural activities, sports and entertainment in order to boost domestic and international tourism," said the General Director Veronica Lopez.
Its purpose is to strengthen the city as a tourist destination, characterized by having an important asset, artistic and natural heritage, through the development of activities to promote and boost tourism promotion and dissemination of the cultural heritage of Lorca, while engaging the young people in their preservation and dissemination.
Users of YHA membership card discounts at tourist establishments and cultural centers Lorca Taller del Tiempo acceded to the program, as the Fortaleza del Sol, the Visitor Center and museums Paso Blue, Purple and Incarnate.
