Youth Councillor of the City of Lorca, Augustine Llamas, reported that the municipal area has organized a school first healthy recipe contest to promote healthy eating among young, considering it a necessary part of learning, involving and encouraging to children.

Llamas explained that students in the primary schools of the municipality who are interested can submit entries by 28 March to 14 hours via email and calling lapera@lorca.es of 9 to 14 47 968 75 66 (to confirm receipt) and can present each participant two recipes, accompanied by a brief explanation of why students think that the recipe meets the intent of healthy eating.

Along with the application shall send the recipe name, the name of the child / participant, the school center and course, an email contact, the degree of difficulty (low, medium, high), the ingredients of the recipe , mode of preparation and some pictures or video where the involvement of the child is seen in the preparation of the recipe.

In addition, all children must be approved by a parent or legal guardian, who accepted the same time distributing the photos or videos submitted for the contest.

The mayor explained that the recipes can be used all kinds of products, bearing in mind that the resulting recipe healthy, save energy in their preparation and less waste which adversely affect the environment are generated.
