The Town Planning Council of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia has reported that the municipal area has granted a new license to rebuild a detached house demolished by the damage caused by earthquakes in 2011 on the site of Irrigation Ventarique in Pulgara deputation.
Peñarrubia said "the new building will have ground floor 109.06 m2 and 62.45 m2 in a chamber upstairs, and include improvements related to energy saving, thermal and acoustic insulation and accessibility."
The mayor explained that "this is already 72 single family homes demolished by earthquakes that are licensed reconstruction, most of them in districts, and many of them have already been completed."
The council congratulated the owners of this property and has expressed his satisfaction that "this reconstruction is given a step towards achieving the culmination of the recovery of the number of occupied dwellings that were demolished by earthquakes."
In this sense Peñarrubia stressed that "there are 866 homes in reconstruction of thousand of homes already licensed redevelopment, all of which include improvements to the existing building before the earthquake, as we set out to improve Lorca and quality of life of Lorca from the next minute to this natural disaster. "
"Agility in rebuilding these homes is being made possible through the efforts of the neighbors and their technicians as well as the municipal officers, along with the economic contributions of the Central Government and the Autonomous Community, to be added to the Compensation Consortium Insurance of the Ministry of Economy, "concluded Councillor.
Finally, José Joaquín Peñarrubia stressed that "the ongoing reconstruction works conclusion and the beginning of new ones has become a constant positive demonstrating the unstoppable activity in improving our town."
