The Bureau has met since its launch more than 5.1 million.
To date he has conducted over 3,000 assists and supports families affected by earthquakes and floods, which have led to more than 4.8 million expenditure.
The Councillor for Social Services City of Lorca, María del Carmen Ruiz, has reported that the Bureau has distributed to date a total of 4,873,914.39 euros to families affected by the earthquakes of 2011.
Jódar Ruiz stressed that the work being carried out by this institution has performed over 3,000 assists to Lorca family, a fact that confirms the good performance being made from the table.
The objective of this forum has been working since the first day, contribute to the recovery and reconstruction of our town, the main focus of its mission to promote the normalization of daily life of Lorca.
We believe that once carried a balance in cold and over time, we have managed to overcome phases and complete objectives.
We can say that the work done by the Bureau has been highly positive.
It's been a very valuable experience, which we highlight the overall degree of consensus in establishing the various lines of support and assistance through which we have benefited thousands of Lorca.
Except in very specific exceptions and it is better to forget, the components of the Bureau have shown that we can work together and when Lorca's interests take precedence over partisan or other assumptions, the result is very beneficial to society.
Also believe that full transparency with which it has worked from day one, and we've done involve citizens through the media, has earned us the confidence of the various associations, groups and administrations that have contributed supportive actions and funds to aid officers.
The mayor of Social Services explained that the total recorded in the accounts managed revenues and channeled the Bureau today amounts to 5,183,989.36 euros, with a positive balance of 310,074.97 euros.
Major aid that have been made so far are:
- To boost trade economic assistance (for the Bureau of Commerce): 500,000 €
- Financial assistance for preparation of the new headquarters of the food market: 70.000 €
- Financial assistance for housing rehabilitation in Uptown: € 14,260.11.
- Other significant expenses of the Bureau are as follows: - Assistance initiative "bungling Without Borders": € 1,879.34
- Installation and maintenance modular homes San Fernando: € 44,637.31 - Camp La Torrecilla exceptional costs: € 9,585.64
