The Deputy Secretary General of the PSOE Lorca, Antonio Navarro, welcomed that "three years later, finally starting remodeling works of Alfonso X, being within such works thirteen months."
Navarro stated that "precisely in thirteen months there will be new municipal elections. Suspect, and I dare say categorically that these are not the first major works that align his final performance with the proximity of the next municipal elections ".
Antonio Navarro finished saying "we do not want to think that these great works have been delayed deliberately. Want to believe that no. Would understand that it had not prolonged the suffering of neighbors for electoral calculation. Should be remembered that we have three years of promises, projects and big headlines, but zero bricks. expect that in this case we are talking about only a coincidence in time ".
