The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar has added this morning to the moment of silence against gender violence organized by the Federation of Women's Organizations of Lorca, with its president Pilar Fernández, and the council of Women, Eulalia Ibarra, a head.
The goal of this concentration is to provide that "we are here for all those victims who remain silent and do not dare to take the step into the unknown, because they think they are alone and fear of an uncertain future of them, sons and daughters ".
In this sense, "we give hope and from here remember the whole society which is a problem for everyone and we are actors in this particular situation."
In this line, the mayor pointed out that "in Lorca, thanks to the autonomous region, has strengthened the Center Victim Services, provides a home for victims and has narrowed the collaboration between the Council and the Federation of Women's Organizations. "
