Councilman Parks and Gardens City of Lorca, Angel Mecca, reported that the municipal area is planned for the morning of Tuesday 13 to Wednesday 14 May, the phytosanitary treatment for the control of various insects in Poplar Avenue and the Armed Forces.
Treatments are aimed at the Galeruca elm (Galeruca luteola) and against the elm bark beetle (Scolytus) vectors in transmission of DED elms and same treatment will apply in aphids.
Specifically, the green areas of the Malls of Los Tristes, Corregidor Lapuente, Ramón y Cajal, Margarita Lozano, Jimeno Castellar and The Virgen de Las Huertas and the Poet For Vico Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Streets will be discussed.
Likewise, try the Jacarandas Alameda Cervantes and environment of the railway station, in addition to the Elms Avenue Armed Forces.
The Department of Parks and Gardens reminds residents of these areas must follow the logical rules for the prevention, as not to leave clothes hanging, no pets walk and keep doors and windows closed well.
