The Councillor for Social Services City of Lorca, María del Carmen Ruiz, has reported that the Bureau has distributed to date a total of 4,956,380.83 euros to families affected by the earthquakes of 2011. Ruiz Jódar stressed the ongoing work that is being developed by this entity results in performing medical assistance to 4,000 families Lorca, a fact that confirms the good performance being made from the table.
The mayor of Social Services has stated that so far 389 families have benefited from the advances in rent, a figure that has now reduced to 77, resulting in a decrease of 80%, which is derived from the evolution from those of the aid approved by the Joint Commission payments.
Concerning delivered exceptional aid for the payment of rents, we note that began serving 69 families, a number that currently is out on 5, representing a drop of 92%.
In any case from the Bureau noted that there are still families who need our attention, so we still need the solidarity of all citizens.
The Councillor of Social Services explained that the Bureau continues recovering funds advanced to affected by earthquakes through the established line of support at the time as repayable aid for payment of rent.
It should be noted that so far this year have returned to the table nearly 180,000 euros, the total amount of 770,206 euros reentered.
Different aid approved by the Governing Board of the City Council at its meetings last month involving a total economic amount of 77,564.28 euros, and are distributed as follows:
Comprehensive Care Project: € 29,125 29 aid

Jódar Ruiz said that the purpose of this node has been working since the first day, contribute to the recovery and rebuilding of our town, the main focus of its mission to promote the normalization of daily life of Lorca.
We believe that once carried a balance in cold and over time, we have managed to overcome phases and complete objectives.
We can say that the work done by the Bureau has been highly positive.
It's been a very valuable experience, which we highlight the overall degree of consensus in establishing the various lines of support and assistance through which we have benefited thousands of Lorca.
Except in very specific exceptions and it is better to forget, the components of the Bureau have shown that we can work together and when Lorca's interests take precedence over partisan or other assumptions, the result is very beneficial to society.
Also believe that full transparency with which it has worked from day one, and we have made involving citizens through the media, has earned us the confidence of the various associations, groups and administrations that have contributed, and continue with actions and solidarity funds to aid officers.
The mayor of Social Services explained that the total recorded in the accounts managed revenues and channeled the Bureau today amounts to 5,273,451.45 euros, with a positive balance of 317,070.62 euros.
Major aid that have been made so far are:
- To boost trade economic assistance (for the Bureau of Commerce): 500,000 €
- Financial assistance for preparation of the new headquarters of the food market: 70.000 €
- Financial assistance for housing rehabilitation in Uptown: € 14,260.11.
- Other significant expenses of the Bureau are as follows: - Assistance initiative "bungling Without Borders": € 1,879.34
- Installation and maintenance modular homes San Fernando: € 44,637.31 - Camp La Torrecilla exceptional costs: € 9,585.64
