The Town Planning of the City of Lorca, Francisco García, reported that the city council has approved this morning at the weekly meeting of the Local Government has contracted the removal of a tower crane, removal of scaffolding tunnel and other elements located on the street and the rear enclosure fence in a plot in existing works in the district of San José, specifically between Calle Bartolomé Pérez Casas and Fray Francisco Lorca.
This is a building that has been paralyzed for several years, and whose elements on the street hindered the movement of people and aesthetically harmed the area.
Francisco Garcia explained that after a period of time elapsed more than reasonable (estimated to save the work carried on about 4 years) and having repeatedly communicated to those responsible for the construction of the need to proceed with the withdrawal of the foregoing, the City Council has decided to act accordingly, ordering a company carrying out the work the cost passed on to the owner of the building.
Note that this action has also been requested by residents and merchants in the area, who have moved to the Consistory the situation, detailing the plot was in a poor state of maintenance and showing concern about the presence of said crane besides removing claim scaffold structure installed on the sidewalk.
The Town Planning has also pointed out that the technical services of Planning, have found the necessity to proceed with the removal of the crane and other existing elements on the street for safety.
This municipal intervention puts an ultimate solution to a situation that is considered unsustainable and will help to end the uncertainty and concern generated by this site between citizens.
This withdrawal facilitate the implementation of the refurbishment and remodeling the CARM will run in the neighborhood in the near future.
